Account Overview
What information is associated with my GamerKraft account and how is it used?
All information collected as part of the GamerKraft registration process is done
so privately and with your account security solely in mind. We will never use
your account information for any reason other than to provide you increased
account security or an overall better user experience.
The following is a brief description of the information collected by GamerKraft
and how it is used:
Login ID and Password – Used by players to login to the GamerKraft
website and game titles. Your GamerKraft login ID will never be shared publicly
with other players. It is different from your forum ID and in-game character
names, which are both displayed publicly in the GamerKraft forums and within
GamerKraft game titles. Always keep your login ID and password private.
Forum ID – Different from your login ID, the forum ID is set by users
upon their initial login to the GamerKraft forums. Your forum ID is the name
other players will identify you by. On the GamerKraft forums, you will post
topics and replies under your forum ID. Your forum ID cannot match your login ID
for security reasons.
Security Question/Answer – You will be required to answer your security
question in order to retrieve certain information about your account if it's
lost (such as your login ID or password). When registering, pick a security
question/answer that is memorable, but not easy enough that another person could
easily guess the answer.
Email – Your email address is used to activate your GamerKraft account.
If you happen to forget your login ID or password, an email will be sent to your
address so you may regain access to your account. GamerKraft will also send
important information regarding upcoming game updates and promotions to your
email, but only if you specified it was okay to do so during registration. If
you wish to remove yourself from the GamerKraft mailing list you can do so from
the “My Account” page.
The above account information is essential to claiming ownership of your account
should you lose access to it. Purchased in-game items are tied to your account
and if it is stolen, your items will also be lost. For this reason, always
keep your login ID and password private. The GamerKraft staff will never ask for
your password or other private information. If someone asks for your GamerKraft
account information on a third-party website, or via email, it is a scam and
should be reported to us via the “Contact Support” section of the GamerKraft
support center.
GamerKraft will never give out your personal information or use it any way
other than to provide you increased account security or better overall service.
